Create a VECTR campaign to track purple team validations, logging detection tests with their traceability.

Use it when you want structured tracking of validations: VECTR (from SecurityBoat/SRA) manages purple team campaigns — the campaign groups tests (validated techniques with their results: detected, not detected, blocked), with test details (tool, artifacts, result). It is the traceability platform for purple teaming: each validation recorded and queryable — evidence of coverage. In purple teaming, VECTR is the campaign log: the quarterly campaign with tests of in-scope techniques, and coverage metrics.

Do not use it without a defined process: VECTR records what the team documents — a test not recorded does not exist for metrics; the flow (test → result in VECTR) integrates with the exercise. Data quality (correct result, artifacts) is tracking quality. And note: VECTR is the record, not the execution — tests are run with tools (Atomic, CALDERA) and results are imported or logged in VECTR; import automation (CALDERA results to VECTR) is part of the mature flow. The platform requires deployment (Docker) and user management.
